I have reproduced your issue; it appears that the mysql instance is not
started until after the bacula-director-mysql configuration step is
completed (which will obviously cause this step to fail)
If you allow the installation to complete and then re-configure bacula
after mysql has started you sh
It appears that the installation process was unable to contact the MySQL
database locally
Did you have any reported issues during the bacula-director-mysql
configuration steps?
