I have done a Dist upgrade to my Edgy install.
I attempted to reproduce with the steps above, and still see the "error
accessing 'file:///home/oem/drawing.svg': File not found" message.
Now having not saved it yet, ever, should it really produce this message
every time?
I press Ok, and then typ

I see the "File not found error", but I do not see it crash. (This is

Just to confirm that if I do select a save location, there is no crash.
That save location is not remembered, and this also may be an issue to
do with default save paths. However, even then, it should be an error
dialog at worst, and not an outright crash.
