Can you also give some history information what has been done before you
encountered this problem. That is,
1) Have you just upgraded your Ubuntu distribution to the new release
when you noticed this problem?
2) Have you tried to boot from installation media (CD/DVD)? Do you see
the same problem
Can you add some more description is there any text printed on screen
during boot?
