This just started happening to me in Ubuntu 8.04 randomly one day; The
odd thing is that it doesn't seem to have happened with an update (or
restart, this one just stays on); it just started happening! There
shouldn't be some hotkey that could trigger this, but I don't know how
it started happening
Added misery... I turned off all beep alerts in xchat and it STILL beeps
on every message. Even after I quit and restarted Xchat and double
checked the settings to make sure that beep alerts were still
unchecked...
This is driving me insane!
