Neither on edgy nor on dapper I have recognized that issue, packages installed without problems. Make sure you have enabled section universe for dapper-updates, maybe that's it. It seems like you've forgotten that. Totem is in main, totem-xine in universe. So if you only enabled dapper-updates main
