jFo the issue affects others with the same camera. I applied the *fix* -
it did not work for me using Lucid Lynx. There are at least a few others
with hardware from the same vendor (Zareason) that I know of. I can help
them file a bug if that would help.

to disallow h/w details, e.g. apport-collect data, to be sent to 3rd
