The fix was not included in the 1:9.10+20100122 package (which had been
generated after the fix). A new language pack for karmic including it
will be generated on the weekend, and next week we'll upload it to
karmic-updates some time next week.

Hi! Today I updated my system, I had an update for the asturian language, and
Firefox crash again.
The updates was:
1:9.10+20100115
1:9.10+20100122
The bug in Firefox is the same as this bug.

@David, I just try with a new installation in the laptop.
I updated with the proposed, and all right (the ast package was removed):
Firefox works.
I add the lines to /etc/apt/sources.list.
The info for the update was:
1:9.10+20091022
1:9.10+20100115
I update the asturian language, and Firefox no

Well, I added that lines to my APT source file, and it works... but I did more
test in the system, and I can't confirm if it works :S

The language-pack-ast has now been removed from karmic-proposed.
However, this should be fixed if you'd like your translations updates to
be released. An idea might be to test your translations following the
instructions at

The asturian translators in LP confirms this bug.
The only way for run Firefox is enter in safe mode "firefox -safe-mode" and
remove the asturian language for Firefox & Xulrunner.
Please, we will study the cause, but can you remove the package now?
