I new to ubuntu world and I'm affected by the same problem. I send appointments
from evolution to funambol with specified buenos aires (utc-3) location, and on
my.funambol.com its appearance by -3 hours difference (utc-6 like).
in the reverse order there is no problem.

I should have noted: Ubuntu 9.10 amd64, local time zone Europe/Prague set both
in myFunambol portal and my desktop computer.
The logs from myFunambol portal show time zone Zurich - however, it is GMT+1 as
Prague is.

I am hit by the same problem. (I do not use sync-ui, but syncevolution
directly from command line.
Interestingly, entering a calendar event on my phone (synced with
myFunambol.com) or via webinterface on my.funambol.com is sync'ed to
evolution correctly.
Weird is that syncevolution logs (both on
