I am hit by the same problem. (I do not use sync-ui, but syncevolution directly from command line.
Interestingly, entering a calendar event on my phone (synced with myFunambol.com) or via webinterface on my.funambol.com is sync'ed to evolution correctly. Weird is that syncevolution logs (both on command line and $HOME/.cache/syncevolution/...) show correct times. But the display in Evolution calendar is wrong.
