Just made fresh install - everything was ok.

I also had this ppa enabled. After following Killeroid's suggestion to
remove it, my system seems stable again. Thanks Killeroid! You've made
me productive again. And this reinforces the wise warni

I just noticed that this bug is only present on my pcs that have the
xorg-edgers ppa enabled. I installed the package "ppa-purge", run the
commnad "sudo ppa-purge xorg-edgers", then disabled the xorg-edgers ppa
and restarted and I havent run into this problem again.

One is a 945GM the other a 855GM
Only seems to be firefox that triggers it though

Some days passed and there is no idea about this.
Experiencing this makes my job really hard.
At least someone give a comment what to do/check/update/revert or whatever..
Let say at first:
"Saw signal 7. Server aborting" - what is signal 7 and what is the difference
with common problem - signal 1
Having the same problem on newly installed Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix
will all available updates. Happens running Firefox and launching
application such as the upgrade utility.
