I id exactly as jake wrote. with some changes.
1. Go to the 'Account' tab in UbuntuOne web interface.
2. Click 'View the machines connected to this account'.
3. Select EVERY entry for the machine that is being repeatedly connected.
4. Click 'Remove selected computers'.

The error in your syncdaemon-exceptions.log appears to be related to
extra spaces in your ~/.config/ubuntuone/sycndaemon.conf file. Can you
replace the contents of this file with:
[__main__]
log_level = DEBUG
Then restart the Ubuntu One client. The debug logging will then be in

Same thing happens to me. Every time i turn on the computer, one does
not connect even when i ask it to do it. The coud icon remains with an
exclamation mark the whole time.
