Yes, I confirm this bug. However, you can manually edit the necessary file.
Open .config/lxpanel/LXDE/panels/panel and edit in the section "Global"
"width=100" (the whole file can be seen there:
http://wiki.lxde.org/en/LXPanel#Main_Config_File). It works for me. Hope, it
works for you too.
