Please try on 7.10 or hardy alpha2 + updates (new wacom-tools just
uploaded). Also try changing your driver to "intel", which supports
randr-1.2 (so no xinerama) and is the current default driver for intel
chips.

I think the problem resides in the i810 driver. It isn't just the wacom/gimp
problem on its own, I've been experiencing more problems than just my problem
with gimp when I use the dualscreen setup-configuration.
It seems i'm unable to view dvd's with totem (just dvd's) when the dualscreen
is act
I also have exactly the same problem. It exhibits the same problem both
in GIMP and Inkscape. My xorg.conf is basically the same as above.
