I have tried several times, and it seems to work now.
However Minh is probably right. It is not specific to ktimetracker. In fact, it
still happens very frequently that kontact does not kill itself when quitting,
and when you want to lanch it again, nothing shows up. This is with or without

Could you please try to reproduce this bug with Kubuntu 11.04 since this
report is nearly two years old and Kontact has been improved in that
time.
