I have tried several times, and it seems to work now. However Minh is probably right. It is not specific to ktimetracker. In fact, it still happens very frequently that kontact does not kill itself when quitting, and when you want to lanch it again, nothing shows up. This is with or without using ktimetracker (mostly without). Actually, I have now a personal script that I call instead of calling kontact, in order to check if kontact was properly killed. This problem I can ensure is still present in 11.04
So I guess this bug can be closed, but we should investigate bug 455881 instead.
