I installed the linux-backports-modules-wireless-lucid-generic and now i cannot
reproduce this error anymore.
I no longer see any unsupported jumbo in dmesg and i can stream a video without
it dying.
I can also jump in a video without issues which was completely impossible
before.
I havent test
I only have 500Meg in mine so probably not.
I have a desktop with another atheros card and ath5k driver which works
ok, 2G ram and bigger CPU.

"new" AAO which should have the same wireless card (didn't open it to
check yet) and it does not have the same trouble. It only has 1GB RAM
though. The machine I have which has the problem has 1.5GB RAM. Wonder

I think i can confirm at least that the unsupported jumbo error message is not

It isn't that similar. I don't get any error messages and installing
backports, or any other kernel version, does not make any difference.
This bug is present in all kernes which have the ath5k driver.

I am very interested to see if this is an Aspire One problem.
I have another, non aspire one, with an Athereos WLAN and ath5k driver. Will
check later if i get the error message on that one as well.

Bug is still present in 2.6.33, and now I get really slow wireless
speeds too, around 5K/s.
2.6.34-rc1 causes an instant kernel panic on my hardware so I cannot
test it.

I didn't mention in my original report that I am using WEP128
encryption.
I ran some tests: 100mb of zeros transfered OK. 100mb of ones transfered
OK. With a 9mb text file, approximately 300 consecutive characters were
overwritten by an equal number of consecutive characters from slightly
