Note that upstream has a different filter chain (all jobs converted to
PostScript, page manipulation done on PostScript, then jobs converted to
the printer's format) the Ubuntu and Debian (all jobs turned to PDF,
then pages manipulated on PDF, after that all jobs converted to the
printerÅ› format).

Citing my comment from upstream STR:

but still got long edge duplexing. So the problem may be related to not-
respecting the option at all (not short edge concretely). BTW, in
