Judging from xmag, Firefox 3.5 doesn't seem to suffer from this, at
least not on this Intel graphics system.

I'm using the ati opensource drivers in Karmic (xserver-xorg-video-
ati_6.12.99+git20090629.f39cafc5-0ubuntu5_i386.deb), though AFAIR the
problem was also there using nvidia proprietary drivers (but I'll also
post the results with them when I can).
More interesting would be what driver you're runn

Loic reason i asked to try a new profile is because a lot of times
themes cause this issue. However we are talking about this bug at this
time

That's with Karmic's Firefox.
Please don't mark bugs as incomplete when you can easily check the bug
is still there - it's not like it happens on a specific hardware, or
that it's an uncommon application you wouldn't know how to start.
