Title:
Thunderbird does not ask for smtp password

Would just like to let you know that I have exactly the same behavior -
Thunderbird refuses to recognize the fact that SMTP Authentication method is
set to Normal Password.
I have Thunderbird compiled from sources so I don't expect any support:
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.1
Just installed Thunderbird to try along side Evolution. It's not asking
me for my SMTP password. I've tried deleting that SMTP server, creating
a new one and making it the new default all to no avail.
I'm running the latest release of Karmic.
