After upgrading from Intrepid to Jaunty, my USB HID dance mat (a game
controller) no longer works. This shows up in syslog when I plug it in:
May 23 02:02:03 ocelot kernel: [56886.952507] usb 8-1: new low speed
Update: I spoke too soon. The problem occurs intermittently on current
lucid (kernel 2.6.32-22-generic).
It failed yesterday. Here's what syslog said when I plugged in the
device:
Jun 1 22:19:22 ocelot kernel: [45561.028016] usb 8-1: new low speed USB device
using uhci_hcd and address 6

Looks like the problem is gone (for me) in Lucid beta 2.
