Obligatory "me too" post but I do have more information. Clean
installed 9.04 64-bit three times over the past week on the same machine
with two different soundcards. In all cases sound worked until I ran
recommended updates - then no sound. I also lost the TV tuner card and
the ability to suspe
I did a bunch of things today and got all of the audio back accept for
flash/youtube/streaming things ( always the holdout ). I'm not sure what
fixed it as I was testing with youtube and didn't know the other issues got
fixed until I clicked on an MP3.
