Fix worked for me (Jaunty amd64 gnumeric 1.8.4). In my dialog-stf.glade
file, I had "1 1 100 1 10 10" which I changed to "1 1 100 1 10 0"

one described in the first post.
Seems to be working fine.
For someone who does't know g
Just ran into this with gnumeric 1.8.4 on Jaunty amd64 current as of

Attempted to fix the problem using the procedure described above

stf.glade didn't contain any lines like "0.05 0 1 0.01 10 10" but the file

I can confirm this bug (and fix) in Jaunty amd64. Very frustrating as it
is one of the excellent features of gnumeric. Used frequently to copy
tables of data from database queries - with column names etc.
Note to others applying the patch manually: search for and replace with values above (there

I can confirm this bug (and fix). It really is a frustrating one - I've
just spent rather too long trying to work out why my analysis didn't
make sense
It's a reappearance of this bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnumeric/+bug/264167, (it is
the same bug, - failing to import the
Just to be clear, the change in the anova-one.glade file should be to:
0.05 0 1 0.01 0.05 0.05
This is indicated in the file I attached, but someone making the quick
fix described by JGB may not look at the patch file.

As a work-around, you can change the mentioned lines directly in
/usr/share/gnumeric/1.8.4/glade/dialog-stf.glade
/usr/share/gnumeric/1.8.4/glade/anova-one.glade
and that will instantly fix gnumeric
