the workaround did it well. Now it even uses my Xmodmap.
I'll try to find out if this Bug is already fixed in xfce4.6.1 and when,
how we get the fix in Ubuntu.

I struggled with this today. The friendly folks on irc suggested I check xfce
bugzilla to see if the 4.6.1 update would fix this problem. I stumbled on this
bug.
