This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in
it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try
with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are

I'd also like to add that when the battery is not detected properly I
can not change the brightness of my screen at all. The hotkeys do work
(I see the brightness indicator come up and change appropriately) - but
I can't turn up the brightness at all (the indicator comes up but
doesn't move) and tu
