I'm going to mark this as a duplicate of bug 269904. Although that bug
has a compiz task which is marked as Fix Released - that fix is only a
workaround. The underlying problem with the NVIDIA binary driver st
the problem is the GTK Window Decoration!

I think the magnitude of the problem is not really illustrated by the
screenshots. The real impact is, when you work in a texteditor (tried
texmaker and gedit) and after a cut/paste or delete action the screen is
not updated. What you see on the screen is then different from the data
that text actu
so i have installed the update of today and i have the nvidia 180.35 driver for
my nvidia 8400M G, but the problem it's the same
