Tested on fully updated (of 16.9.2008) Intrepid Ibex Alpha 5 and no ill
effects after ejecting and unmounting assorted media (cd-r's, cd-rw's,
dvd+-r's, dvd+-rw's). As of now, it appears this bug has been resolved,
I will open a new bug if a regression is found afterwards.

The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
There are one of two ways you should be able to test:

Not to prior extent, no. I tested this with a few old cd-r's and dvd's. Two
first cd's unmounted fine, the third wouldn't unmount first, but could be
unmounted without using cli. Error message was "umount: /media/cdrom0 : device
is busy
eject: target "/media/cdrom0" unmounting failed ". This co
