I can confirm it on Lucid 10.04 (up-to-date). I copied Ubuntu 9.10 ISO
to my 8GB USB disc and progress bar showed 932% complete at the end, see
attached screenshot.
usb-creator: 0.2.16
$ usb-creator-gtk --version
0.2.8

I can confirm this as well in the Jaunty version (Installed: 0.1.16). It
was at 102% when creating the persistence area. Evan, have you taken a
peek to see if there are any obvious logical mistakes in calculating the
percentage when creating the persistence area?

Same thing for me : I just created two USB installation disks, one with
Ubuntu 8.10 i386 ISO, the other one with Ubuntu 8.10 amd64 ISO, and both
copying processes reached 101% at the end of the process.
Using usb-creator 0.1.10 on Ubuntu 8.10

I simply opened the tool,
select an image (i chose the alternate cd for amd64 ubuntu 8.10)
inserted the usb key, and then pressed the `go' button or whatever it
was called.
it reach perhaps 110% or so by the time it was done.
