I am reporting that the SAME exact bug, as described in post #10 CONSTATNLY
occurs on HP Pavilion DV5 1000 with Lucid Lynx x32 and all latest updates.
It happens out-of-the-box too.
I also have not found a pattern - it seems to be completely random.

Having the same error here for quite some time. Although I'm running
OpenSuSe 11.2 with 2.6.31 kernel. Also the error doesn't seem to occur
when I run my laptop in failsafe mode, it only occurs on regular boots.

Dell Inspiron 6000 that I acquired, and there's lots of random lock-ups.

I get the same problem on my Hp Dv2000 Laptop, when i have firefox open
and am doing nothing basically, it all of a sudden freezes and locks up
completely and a light flashes on my laptop. I am running kubuntu
Intrepid fully updated. My mouse doesnt move at all, nothing does. It
happened a week
Same behavior on a Thinkpad T60 with Intel 3945. Semi-hardlock (mouse
moves, takes no input) and does not respond to SysRq commands.
I'll try to get logs later.

I have seen the same behaviour running Lenovo T60 Same Intel Wireless card. ?
Also seen lockups in firefox.
I can't seem to get the error. hardlockup occurs.
