Having the same error here for quite some time. Although I'm running OpenSuSe 11.2 with 2.6.31 kernel. Also the error doesn't seem to occur when I run my laptop in failsafe mode, it only occurs on regular boots. Also I did some more research on the error and found this blog post which discusses the processes that happen in the background:
