Recent change in Intrepid caused X to crash on startup.
It was working with Intrepid until a recent change.
AIGLX seems like the culprit due to the last entry in Xorg.0.log
Tried disabling compiz w/no effect via /etc/compizconfig/config
Default xorg.conf
Please try jaunty alpha2 livecd.

The login screen prompts for username/password after entering it
continues to load gnome as usual, but appears to crash hard while
loading applets.
Everything is at default settings.
If I switch to a VT console, X fails to load and spits out a few errors
related to MTRR then tries starting again.
