Hey im experiencing this and i have checked that sessions has tracker-
applet enabled and it does Id rather not have to delete the package any
ideas

I know this may appear to be a dumb question, but... Did you have
tracker-applet enabled in Sessions? I had a similar issue some days ago.
I found that tracker-applet was missing form Sessions. Both trackerd and
tracker-applet must be running together. Please let us know if this was
not your experi
now i removed everything tracker-related from the system.
wipe-out.
than restarted the box.
than installed all back again.
restarted the box, system>preferences>search and indexing> on, on,
and voila.
that icon is back.
i will see how well this went at the end of the day.
