I now longer use the give 'network-manager_0.7--

Simply removing it [network-manager_0.7--
svn20081004t225044-0ubuntu1_i386.deb] - resolved the problems with my
Intranet and Network system.
I suffered a major 'down-time' with this update t
we need output of lspci -v as well as a complete syslog taken after
reproducing and your /etc/network/interfaces.
