My experience of bug 269904 is that the window is partially rendered, and by
clicking in the window or alt-tab'ing will trigger a re-render of the window
and the window content is then shown correctly and ic

I'm not entirely sure it is a dupe. The other bug seems to be fixed when
using nvidia-glx-173 instead of 177. All other symptoms disappear except
for this one.
