My experience of bug 269904 is that the window is partially rendered, and by
clicking in the window or alt-tab'ing will trigger a re-render of the window
and the window content is then shown correctly and icons etc will not disappear
in this correctly rendered window. If i move the mouse in the partially
rendered window, icons etc will show up underneath the cursor.
David: Is this the case for you as well? In that case, it might be a dupe.
