Check if your card reader is based on a Ricoh Controller. If such is the case,

I'm also having problems with ehci_hcd, though on different context (see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/282783 for full
report). The only solution I found was to "rmmod ehci_hcd". It then
works, though of course limited to USB 1.1 speeds.

I am seeing the same issue with intrepid Alpha5. I have again attached
the various files, however, there does not seem to be udevmonitor in
intrepid.

Hi,
The 2.6.27 kernel is only available if you enable the Intrepid
repository. However, you should be able to test this bug using a LiveCD
and thus not need to make any sort of changes to your existing
installation. Thanks.

Is this kernel available for 8.04 LTS? Being this is my primary machine
I would rather not have to upgrade to a non LTS dist just for the sake
of testing a new kernel.
Or... are you saying I should install the Ibex kernel release on Hardy?

upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

The stick works fine in windows on the same machine. I have automount disabled
and there is no 'usefree' option in the gconf settings.
