and it seems like it worked.
I added the ibex line to my sources.list,
then I updatet just the kernel part,
then I removed the ibex line from the sources.list.
I don't think this way of doing it is recommended though.

Sure, you'll need to enable the Intrepid repository in your sources.list

Hi, sorry I didn't inform you about that.
I've been using reboot=b for a long time,
so that is defnently not the solution.
The problem, with the computer, when i'm not using reboot=b.
Is that I was unable to do a proper restart using inet 6 or the like.
It was simply hanging after shutdown.

I'm sorry but it actually isn't. Let's look at the '/var/log/kern.log*'
files I have available on my system:
-rw-r- 1 syslog adm0 2008-08-12 08:49 /var/log/kern.log
-rw-r- 1 syslog adm 1.8M 2008-08-11 07:47 /var/log/kern.log.0
-rw-r- 1 syslog adm 269K 2008-08-10 08:11 /var/log/ker
