Hi, sorry I didn't inform you about that. I've been using reboot=b for a long time, so that is defnently not the solution.
The problem, with the computer, when i'm not using reboot=b. Is that I was unable to do a proper restart using inet 6 or the like. It was simply hanging after shutdown. This problem also happens, (sometimes) just after the user logs out. (gnome logout). So instead of seeing the login screen the computer just dies. I'm unable to ping it after crash, so I's a kernel issue I think. The only way to avoid the crash is not to logut and kill x explict, with the alt ctrl backspace. -- dell optiplex 745 hangs freeze i reboot or when i log off https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/255961 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
