Now waiting for an actual crash. It happens so randomly with me it may
be a while. If you want to help here are the steps I have taken so far:
Added to /etc/apt/sources.list
deb http://ddebs.ubuntu.com intrepid main universe
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libc6-dbgsym libglib2.0-0-db
Thanks for your valgrind.log Ken. I've talked with afflux in #ubuntu-
bugs about your log, and he had this to say:
You'll definitely need libc6-dbgsym libglib2.0-0-dbgsym and gvfs-dbgsym,
maybe gvfs-backends-dbgsym and libgvfscommon0-dbgsym, unlikely are the
ones for: libdbus-1-3, libgnome-keyring
Valgrind - not sure how useful it is. How can I install symbols.
Renamed to gvfsd-trash-debug and created gvfsd-trash containing:
G_SLICE=always-malloc G_DEBUG=gc-friendly valgrind -v --tool=memcheck
--leak-check=full --num-callers=40 --log-file=/tmp/valgrind.log
/usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd-trash-de
I don't believe AWN affects it since I got that error right after upgrading
to 8.10 with no AWN installed.
That said, I don't know how is this service started at all, so running
valgrind on it is... problematic.
