the nohz=off solution is very strange, since (afaik) it has a normal intel dual
core processor...

booting with the option "nohz=off" seems to fix the problem. No "freezing"
since yesterday night.

I'm having exactly the same problem on the same laptop. I think it has
nothing to do with power-saving settings being activated.
Maybe the following it's not relevant, but it may help. I'm using some

This one is pretty strange, I'm trying to run ubuntu smoothly on a
Samsung R60 Plus (you think that is special? See

The exact problem is, that 20-50 Minutes after a Boot-up, the GUI
