Hi,
I'm having exactly the same problem on the same laptop. I think it has
nothing to do with power-saving settings being activated.

Maybe the following it's not relevant, but it may help. I'm using some
Java programs initially developed in an Acer laptop also with Ubuntu
Hardy that sometime read some input from the keyboard. In the Acer
platform, everything was "normal". After pressing the Return key, the
program stopped until the next keypress. But now, the same code in this
Samsung r60 plus with Ubuntu Hardy behaves oddly: it stops for the first
keypress, but the it skip the next one (as if a second interrupt
appears).

Hope it helps!
