I can still reproduce the erratic touch-pad behavior after a
suspend/resume on 9.04 kernel 2.6.28-13. Note, Sometimes it takes 2 or 3
suspends and resumes to cause the behavior but after it happens I have
to reboot to get usable touch-pad behavior back. It's a serious enough
defect to make Ubuntu n
The touchpad still behaves in an uncomfortable way, but testing here
this specific bug seems to be fixed.

Got this wrong. Some time gone. The touchpad wasn't too fast, it was way
too slow and one full movement on it only got you as far as 1/3 of the
screen. Sorry for having remembered this wrong.
