rhythmbox doesnt load m3u in correct order

Reopening, more people where this is happening (including me). Opening the m3u
file via Music > Playlist > Load from file displays it in the right order;
right clicking then Open with -> Rhythmbox or dragging it into Rhythmbox would
earlier load the file in the wrong order.

Opening an .m3u file from Nautilus results in the tracks being listed in
totally random order in Rhythmbox. Opening the same .m3u file in Totem
does not suffer this problem. The playlist's track order is correctly
maintained.
However, opening the same .m3u file in Rhythmbox by using

edit: problem happens when i right-click the .m3u and choose open with
rhythmbox music player. when i double-click the file directly the order
is correct but rhythmbox plays in random order even though random
playmode is disabled.
