I downloaded and ran Intrepid Ibex Alpha 4 today from its live cd
feature, and my laptop was able to restart without issue. Hopefully the
glitch has been fixed somehow. If not, when the final version comes out
and I experience the issue again I will open a new bug report. For the

Would you be willing to test the development release of Ubuntu? If so
your bug should be recreatable with the Live CD, so there would be no
need to do a full install, you can find information about the latest
