I'm closing the bug because, although there's a change in API in libqof,
the gnotime version in Hardy Heron is perfectly functional without the
need of the patch.

I may have been using an old version of libqof by mistake that I just
discovered in /usr/local/lib from an old self-build of Gnucash. Will
somebody please verify whether this is really a bug, to double-check me?

Duh... it's late, sorry folks. I'm done. Obviously the patch is valid
since the interface actually *did* change. And, I'm running 2.3 now,
against a build of the libqof from Debian Sid, and everything is working
just fine. I bet that the original crash I had would not have happened
if that old libr

This is already fixed in gnotime 2.3.0 which is already in Debian Sid
and is pending the removal of an outdated ia64 binary[1] to enter
Lenny.
I think we should request a backport of 2.3.0 to Hardy. It's a lot
better than 2.2.2.
