I have the same problem, I've upgraded from Feisty to Gutsy though. The vertical scroll doesn't work neither. I tried this InputDevice, that is what I used in Feisty without problems: Section "InputDevice" Identifier "Synaptics Touchpad" Driver "synaptics" Option
