I mean to say that obviously the interest here isn't in fixing the bug,
it is in eliminating the complaint.
Launchpad was supposed to be a central proxy into every bug open source
bug tracking system to eliminate burden on users. All Ubuntu users, can
file a bug in launchpad, and just be done with

I confirm the bug on Ubuntu 8.10.
Way to reproduce the bug :
1. Go to System->Preferences->Keyboard and in the tab "Layouts" add a new
layout ( for example Poland.Polish ) so that you have at least two keyboard
layouts on the list, for example English and Polish. Note which one of them is

Steps to reproduce:
Using the 105 key Intl keyboard
Have the USA keymap
Add the default Canadian Keymap
Map the Euro key to AltGr+E
The Euro key will only work in USA, shifting to CA and using AltGr+Ewill
not work.
