This is not a bug, this never was a feature of aMSN and isn't a feature of the official client either. The /nick command is specific to IRC and not MSN and I see no reason for this bug to be open. I do agree though that it's a nice idea and that it could be made into a plugin (if it's not alread

Hi Frédéric Petitand anyone else affected. Could you please try the new amsn 0.98.9-1 from my ppa [1]? this version is available for precise and quantal and it contains so many bug fixes. If this doesn't fix the problem set the status back to new [1] https://code.launchpad.net/~costamagnagianfran
