I also wonder if the (relatively new) idle inhibition logic in Mutter
might be buggy. For example, if nothing is changing on screen starting
with idle inhibited, and then the last thing that changes is idle being
uninhibited, does the idle timer start counting down as if something did
just change o
Can you try leaving it idle with no web browsers running? It sounds like
you didn't try that (probably because it's not convenient in reality :)

So I relaunched Firefox and loaded Octo
