It said this: firefox: video-playing (idle) firefox: video-playing (idle)
So I went through all of my Firefox tabs, closing them one-by-one, until they were all closed. No change. Then I closed Firefox itself, and sure enough it then said "No inhibitors". So I relaunched Firefox and loaded Octoprint and switched to the camera video. Still said "No inhibitors", so I guess that embedded video stream is not a trigger. Then I loaded Amazon Prime Video and started playing a video, and then it said "firefox: video-playing (idle)", but just once. If I paused the video or switched to another Firefox tab, it switched to "No inhibitors". So it looks like everything is working fine, until it isn't. Somehow either Firefox or Gnome gets confused about what Firefox is actually doing. Anyway, I will try to generate a reliable repro where gnome-session- inhibit is wrong. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2086538 Title: Desktop will not blank automatically To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/2086538/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
