I just upgraded to Ubuntu 24.10 and suspend appears to work again.

I have an LG Gram model 14ZD90Q. It used to suspend, but now it now
longer does. Symptoms are slightly different to OP's: the screen locks
and goes blank, but it's recoverable. Moving the mouse or pressing a key
brings up the unlock screen, exactly as though I had locked the screen
rather than susp
This behavior is unchanged in 24.04 -- bug still exists exactly as
described. No such problems in Ubuntu prior to 23.04, and no problems
with suspend in Windows.
